General Installation
Installation Basics
- While polyurethane has minimal expansion and contraction, all products must be allowed a minimum of 48 hours to acclimate prior to installation.
- Do not leave the cut edges of the glazing board exposed, as the polyurethane will fade in the sun. After cutting it is recommended to use "touch-up paint" to cover the cut edges.
- Good quality deck screws or stainless steel screws are recommended, with at least 6 screws per panel.
- No adhesive is required for installation. If using an adhesive, PL Premium Construction Adhesive is recommended.
- Meilv panels can be installed on any substrate, including concrete and brick. Concrete screws and pre-drilled holes are recommended.

Construction and installation
When installing on steel buildings, a backing plate should be used so that all required connection points have a strong backing.
This is necessary because the recessed rails of corrugated steel often fall in areas where panels or accessories need to be securely fastened.
The base board should be at least 1/2″ thick backboard or OSB. The board needs to be securely attached to the building using structural adhesive and screws.
Use the appropriate proofing substrate or sheath according to local regulations.
Then proceed with the normal installation instructions.
