[Product Origin – Taiwan] Taiwan’s Climate & Resources:

The Capital City, Taipei, endures a similar weather climate as Vancouver, BC Canada. With the humidity and moisture level extremely high, buildings are required to be constructed with maintenance-free, water resistant materials. Taiwan also experiences minor earthquakes with the frequency of once every two days (M1.5 or greater), as well as larger quakes every month with magnitudes of 5> (your belongings will be falling off your shelves). In Taiwan, builders are required to use building materials that are extremely durable and flexible due to the numerous earthquakes which has led to specialization in these types of materials. The island is also limited to natural resources, which had lead Taiwanese communities to focus in the 3R (Reduce, Reuse, Recycle).

New Era’s products are 100% recyclable as they are manufactured with specially formulated polyurethane (PE) and recycled Polystyrene (rPS). These recyclable products are also combined with fire retardants and UV inhibitors.
